Mequon is a very nice community in Ozaukee County. It is a newer community that always has new construction going on. It has a large commercial area that includes many quaint shops as well as a number of chain stores. The quality of life is nice in Mequon, WI. It has three private country clubs plus one public golf course.
While most of the newer real estate in Mequon caters to the home buyer looking to spend over $300,000, there are usually a handful of homes around $200,000 available. There are also a handful of condominium complexes and some of those units are quite affordable. It is a suburban style community with a handful of nice parks. Mequon, WI sits on the southern edge of Ozaukee County and is bordered by municipalities of Brown Deer, Milwaukee, River Hills, Bayside, Germantown, and Cedarburg.
