Bayside is just north of Fox Point and sits in the northeasternmost part of Milwaukee County. Its eastern border is Lake Michigan. Similar to Fox Point, Bayside, WI is arranged like a like a traditional suburb. The homes sit on larger lots and many of the lots offer privacy. It is a very nice suburban community that is still only 12 minutes away from downtown Milwaukee.
Bayside offers a lot of real estate that was been developed in the latter half of the 20th century. There are many executive style homes with in very quiet neighborhoods. Real estate in Bayside is very desirable. In Bayside, you can find homes priced anywhere from $150,000 to around $2.0 million. The area mainly has single family homes although there are a few multi-unit buildings.
Bayside, WI offers a lot of scenic beauty because of its multitude of green spaces. One great attraction the area has is the Schlitz Audubon Center which has many lessons in nature. It has a few parks and is bordered by Doctor's Park in Fox Point which is a great recreational area because of its size and beach. 2000 census data put its population at 4,518.
